Visions of a Mystic: Ho-Jo

FYI

I realize that as soon as I say the word "church" many of you will be turned off thinking, “Oh no, another agenda, another whack!” My point here is not to push my faith... My goal here is to tell everyone that God knows just where you are in life. He is real, not some figment of one's imagination or belief system.
In an effort to be honset with all I am a Catholic. I love my church the love I have for my church does not detract from the love I have for you where ever you are in life for we are one in the mystical body. I seek to share my experience of God and request you share with me your experiences, all families do this you know they share with eachother so please my dear family share with me.
Although I have been labeled a mystic; by others I have been labeled a liberal or a conservative or that I "just do not get it." I have been lectured by many--all producing their own way I should approach God... I am here to say to all, be they Jew, gentile, Muslim, or whatever, just approach God. Let him lead you.
I was not raised in a religious home. I still do not consider myself "religious." I am very much a part of this world, and I am in constant struggle... I have messed up my life more than I could write about on one blog post. It would take the entire internet to do that... yet God still approaches me, and I am here to try and let you know that he is approaching you as well, wherever you are in life... We live in a time of salvation. Do not let anyone or anything take that away from you. Stand firm in the fact that you are loved by a God who created you, and no matter who you are, I think of you, I pray for you and you are my family.

I have dedicated this blog to two very dear young people who were killed in car accidents. The name SIJA comes from combining the first two letters of their names ... Know that when your death occurs upon this planet, you do not die, you are transformed, and these two beautiful souls have helped me get this site up and running. So in their memory and by the grace of God, I come to you with an invitation to open your hearts to God...to love... to hope...to joy... I am praying for you... as are SIJA

Ho-Jo

Got a new nickname from someone... they have taken to calling me Ho-Jo... At first I thought...what?? Why am I being called "Howard Johnson... aka..Ho-Jo".. Did not know why I was somehow representing a franchise of motels and breakfast food to someone... Then this person told me, Ho-Jo stood for Hope and Joy... WOW, that is cool being thought of as being a source of hope and joy to someone. Then I taught wouldn't that be great if I could start franchises like IHOP (International house of pancakes) and be the I-HO-JO... meaning that each and everyone could be Hope and Joy for others throughout the world... Yes that is cool so let this posting be my advertisement for you to "purchase" a I-Ho-Jo... Can I interest you in becoming a franchisee???... Here is all you need to do... take the I (meaning you), take the Ho- meaning hope and then take the Jo- meaning joy...now you take that hope and joy and then you (the I) place it into the world, the cost is free, the rewards a better world for all of us to live in..and we can all reap the profits...
